One boiler with oneAFGD, one scrubbing tower handles flue gas from one boiler, so there are twosets of AFGD system. Clean gas releases in the air through existing chimneywith by-pass damper arrangement. ‘SO2 removal efficiency of proposedAFGD by us is at least 98.7% with at least 7200 hours of annual working time.
One set of AmmoniaSulfate(AS) handling system an one set of utilities system are shared,scrubbing tower uses counter-current type spray empty tower.
The proposal ofAFGD is base on SO2 content of 12,500mg/Nm3 (standard,dry, 6% O2), SO2 concentrate after AFGD is less than200mg/Nm3, SO2 removal efficiency is 98.5%.
The proposal isammonia-based wet FGD process with anhydrous ammonia as reagent to absorb SO2 existing in the flue gas to form ammonium sulfite (NH4)2SO3 solution which is blew with oxidation air to generate ammonium sulfatesolution. The ammonium sulfate solution goes into evaporation crystallizationsystem to become ammonium sulfate slurry, then will become end-product ammoniumsulfate fertilizer after cyclone, centrifugal, drying, package etc.
The whole systemincludes flue gas system, absorption circulation system, oxidation air system,evaporation & crystallization system, post ammonium sulfate handlingsystem, reagent system, process water system, repair & maintenance system,empty space system etc.
FGD
